Dave Elliott

A Brief History in Time.

From the age of seven Dave has been a self taught guitar player, falling in love with Rock 'n' Roll in 1977 at the age of eleven when the TV was awash with movies in tribute to the late, great, Elvis Presley .

When he heard the guitar sound of Scotty Moore in Presley's Jailhouse Rock, he said "I wanna play my guitar like that"... and so the journey began.

He joined his first band Cottie and The Alleycats at the age of fifteen and remained with them for the next eight years, filling the posts of rhythm guitar, bass guitar and finally lead guitar until his departure in 1990.

In 1991 he was fortunate enough to play guitar for the late, great, Gerry Grant, performing in a Roy Orbison Tribute Show.

In 1993 he joined American Pie, a touring Rock 'n' Roll theatre show with Mal Gray from The Wild Angels for over three years.

After American Pie he had a 19 year sabbatical from the circuit to pursue his career as a sound engineer.

In 2012 an opportunity came his way to put a band together with former Alleycats members Andy Hodgson and Chip Robinson and so The Natterjacks were formed.

The end of 2013 saw the end of The Natterjacks and the formation of

Race With The Devil, who launched on Valentine's Day 2015, and as they say, the rest is history.
